What Would A Fucktard Do?

I was looking through my photos and my photo albums for any pictures I could use for a Mook Of The Week story, but alas, I have no more that I can use.
So I will have to describe the mookish behaviour that Flint and I experienced.
One of the things that mooks and fucktards in Korea do when they see a foreigner is to stare like a slack-jawed yokel. I can't tell you how many times I have seen some old ajussi or ajumma stop in their tracks, let their mouth hang open and stare, like they see something green, or you're a martian, or you've got a point on your head.
Even the children do this. I've even seen infants stare at me with a completely blank expression on their face. Their bodies go completely still as they stop whatever they're doing. The Koreans have a group mentality, and it seems to me to be something akin to a hive mind, like bees, or ants, or the Borg.
I always think that someone who stops and stares like this has blown a fuse, and they're communing with the group mind to retrieve any information about the strange apparition before them.
It must be so confusing for them to see a person of another colour, without black hair or eyes. You would think they'd be used to it by now, but the primitive and xenophobic bile spewed out by fucktards like Herr KKKonsoleman at KKKorean Sentry shows that they have a long way to go.
But it does have an amusing side.
I remember one time when Flint and I were dining at a galbi restaurant near his place. It had a glass front, and we could see new customers as they approached. But this one mook could not see us apparently, because it wasn't until he opened the door that he realized who and what we were. He stood there like a typical SJY, holding the door open.
Flint and I could see his wife coming along behind him at a respectful distance.
As she got to the door, her mook of a husband finally came to life. He let go of the door, shutting it in her face.
What would a fucktard do?
Amuse us greatly, for one thing.

Mook of the Week

Another common type of Mook encountered in South Korea is the Milling Mook.

Milling Mooks are the kind that just stand around blocking the way, oblivious to what is going on around them. You can encounter them any where, at any time, in any weather. It can be an individual Milling Mook, a couple of them, or even a whole gaggle of them.

They come in all shapes, sizes, and ages. Sitting at the Dunkin Donuts patio Stig and I got to see lots of different mooks. They block the sidewalk. They even block the entrance to Dunkin Donuts.

Some of them will mill about on the street. The ones you see below milling about in the street beside the truck actually parked the truck there, helping to turn the street into an obstacle course. I guess that makes them double or triple Mooks.

Then you have the Drunken Milling Mooks They will block sidewalks and entrances to buildings while assing around. These four were actually part of a bigger group of Mooks. I believe it was a herd of 10-12. They spent about 30 minutes hanging around there, providing entertainment for Stig and I and frustration for pedestrians.

South Korea. Land of the Morning Calm and many varieties of Mooks. Whatever the type of Mook they all share the common Mook characteristics. A complete lack of common courtesy, an abundance of stupidity, and an over abundance of obliviousness. Which is why they act so surprised when you end up having to force your way through them.

Mook Of The Week

This week's mook is the woman standing in the middle of the intersection. I was stopped at a railway crossing, waiting for the train to pass when I spotted her.
There is a bus stop at this intersection, but passengers usually wait back where the truck is, just behind her. And of course, it's out of the street.
There's also a crosswalk, but it's a little further along the main road that I was on. Traffic was stopped, so she could have crossed any time she wanted. But she just stood there, staring off into space.
You can see another vehicle behind her, approaching the main road. It had to edge around her and past the truck in order to join the main flow. I don't know why the driver didn't give her a blast of his horn to get her to move. Maybe he was in a fog, too.
Fucking mooks.

Mook of the Week

Only enough pics left for three more Mook of the Weeks from Korea.

This time we will be looking at a very common mook in South Korea. The red light running mooks. It doesn't matter whether there is on coming traffic or not these twits will still run the red.

Often, just as they start to run the red, they will beep their horn repeatedly. Or they will put on their four way lights. (I was always told they were the hazard lights as you put them on when you have to stop because of car problems.) In Korea they seem to be used at any time the driver is going to do something stupid. Anything from just stopping in the middle of the street or running a red light.

One of the biggest dangers I encountered while driving in South Korea was these assholes. So many times they would run red lights while I was proceeding on green. Sometimes I would follow them and tell them off.

This particular mook was even stranger than the usual red light runners. He actually stopped for the red light! No one was coming the other way so he kept inching ahead into the crosswalk. Then he just drove through. No mook warnings either ... no horn blasting or flashing of lights. It isn't a long light, in fact about 2-3 seconds after he raced through it changed.

If you are ever driving in Korea beware the red light running mooks.

Mook of the Week

Crosswalk mooks, as in those who block the crosswalks, are a dime a dozen in South Korea. In fact they are so common it is hard to know how to label them. Garden Variety mooks? Commonplace mooks? Mooky mooks? But I digress.

To readers of this blog the intersection should be very familiar. One of the busiest in Cheongju. Taxis are constantly blocking not just the crosswalk but at times the intersection itself. Cars dropping people off or picking them up don't usually help things either. always a great source of mook pictures and stories.

Along comes some mook selling stuff from their tiny van. I almost said mini van but hell mini vans are bigger than this little piece of shit. She pulls to the edge of the cross walk and starts setting up shop.

Of course this leads to all sorts of fuckery as she is now blocking the lane taxis use to enter the queue for the bus terminal. A lane THEY usually use to block the crosswalk.

This mook led to some massive traffic jams in the intersection but it never phased them. They just went on mooking about.

Mook of the Week

Here is another tribute to Delivery Mooks.

They really do exemplify a good part of what makes a mook a mook. A complete disregard for others. They park where they want, when they want, regardless of how it may inconvenience others. Even when there are better spots to park that won't block things, or at least won't block them as much, they still take the path or most resistance.

This mook was making a delivery to a bar by the benches where Stig and I often had after dinner cigars and drinks. It is a very busy 2 lane street. Thanks to people parking wherever they want it often seems like a one lane street.

Along comes this delivery mook. He sort of double parks, blocks both lanes of traffic getting out and mooking about his truck. He actually spent more time mooking about his truck than in making his delivery. At first he blocked traffic getting shit out. He LEFT the door to the refrigerated trailer OPEN while he went in!

Then after making the delivery he fucked around the side of his truck again for a while before leaving.

Needless to say there was more than a bit of horn blowing and posturing going on from the other mooks this mook inconvenienced.

Aish! Delivery mooks!!! Ah shepal!!!

Mook of the Week

Ah, delivery mooks. They are a dime a dozen in South Korea but sometimes they can still make you shake your head at their mookishness.

I was heading out to Road King one night and had to grab a cab. Usually, I get one at an intersection near my apartment. On one corner is a great seafood restaurant. Great, but it does seem to attract mooks. The urinating mook from last year was a patron there. In the summer there are usually a group of mooks outside drunk and mooking it up.

It also attracts delivery mooks. This guy was delivering some fish and shellfish to them and just had to park halfway out into the street. I suppose he could blame it on the mook who parked in the crosswalk and prevented him from parking there. After all, mooks don't usually accept responsibility.

So he parks with the ass end of his truck blocking one lane and almost into the second lane of the street blocking the crosswalk at the same time. He was there the whole time I was waiting to get a cab, about 15 minutes, and showed no sign of leaving then. It was hard to see a cab coming since you couldn't see down the street.

What a mook.

Mook Of The Week

When Koreans move house, it is quite a sight. There are two vehicles involved. One is the van with all the furniture, etc., and the other is a lift which can reach as high as the top of a 15-20 story apartment building. The movers load as much stuff as they can onto a platform that goes shooting up into the air, to be unloaded through the window into the "balcony."
I say "balcony," because most Korean apartments have a storage space/laundry room where you and I expect a balcony. It seems very strange to me to waste the area that would provide a view of the outside world.
But then most Koreans seem to close off their windows rather than open them up. Businesses cover them with signage, like my hagwon. Instead of a big window, my students and I get to look at the reverse side of "CIA."

But anyway, the mook that we're looking at this week is the driver of the moving van parked squarely in the only travel lane available to anyone who wanted to use this road. The driver and his two children were milling around in front of the truck, selfishly oblivious to the bottleneck they had thus provided.

I had first seen this truck from the rear, at the far end of the street. As I approached I thought surely he must move before I got there, but no. He was still there by the time I had passed on up the street to my con-apt, about the same distance the other way as when I had first sighted the vehicle. The driver and his kids were still milling around, seemingly wothout a care in the world, and still selfishly oblivious to the world around them.
What a mook!

Mook Of The Week

This week's mook is whoever put the sidewalk in across the street from the elementary/middle school in Oksan. The street that runs past my hagwon runs another block south before ending in a T-intersection at the school. The sidewalk was installed running east and west from that intersection. Railings were put in place to separate the sidewalk from the street, and the usual signage about looking out for kids was added. There're speed bumps on the road as well, encouraging everyone to take it slow where children are apt to be crossing the street. Not that it slows the mooks down very much. I mean, if you're a stupid shit-for-brains moron with no more brains than God gave a tree stump, why would you slow down for a speed bump, or a sign, or a child in the middle of a crosswalk?
That's why the sidewalk was a great idea. It gives the kids a kind of a refuge from the mooks going past.
Except...
the sidewalk (east and west) STOPS in the middle of the block, forcing whoever is using it back out onto the street.
What the kimchi?!
Who installs half a sidewalk?
A mook, that's who!

Mook of the Week

I dug into my archives for this weeks mook. This one involves stupid parking AND driving through a crosswalk.

I was sitting inside the Dunkin Donut's near work, it has no patio :(, watching the mooks go by. I noticed an SUV parked ON the sidewalk in front of the bank.

After about 15 minutes I noticed a guy walk between it and the bank. It was hard to tell if he was putting something in the passengers side or stopping to have a whizz. He did look very mookish so I wondered if it was the SUV driver. I was right, he came around and hopped in the drivers side.

Then he proceeded to back up while people were using the sidewalk, and standing around the crosswalk waiting for the light to cross. (I didn't get pictures of that as I was shooting video of it.)

Of course he only had one way of getting off the sidewalk without driving over the curb. That was by driving through the crosswalk.

Being a mook he didn't bother looking to see where pedestrians were when he started backing down the sidewalk. Nor did he pat much attention to the cars on the street when he pulled out into the crosswalk and onto the road.

Sadly, this type of behaviour was fairly common. The stupid parking and not paying attention can all be seen on a normal day in South Korea. The driving through crosswalks I saw at LEAST once a month.

A sense of entitlement, horrible driving skills, and oblivious to those around you. You sir are a classic mook.

Mook Of The Week

Well, my time in Korea is just about up. I haven't had any responses to my applications, and nothing appealing has appeared on my radar.
But, Flint and I have many photos of many mooks to expose, so let's get to this week's idiot.
Flint and I used to spend our Sundays on the patio at Dunkin Donuts. It was a busy intersection. There were a lot of opportunities to see ritual idioting behaviour, as well as a never-ending parade of Korean hotties to shamelessly ogle.
Tap, tap.
There was a taxi queue next to the building, as it was just down the block from the bus terminal. The queue would stretch around the block, and the taxi drivers would often take up room in a travel lane, in a crosswalk, and generally slow traffic down. But god help anyone who did the same thing! The cab drivers would beep their horns and swear at the offender for doing the same thing they just did, and are about to do.
There aren't any back alleys, and not a lot of loading docks for Korean businesses, unless it's a major concern like a department store. Delivery trucks stop at the curb in front of whatever business, and bring in the supplies across the sidewalk, blocking traffic. Sometimes they'll park on the sidewalk and block pedestrian traffic.
Now, one afternoon, Flint and I witnessed the delivery to end all deliveries, perpretrated by this week's mook. He was bringing supplies to Dunkin's, and leaving it by their front door. But he wasn't piling it near the door, he was piling it in front of the door.

Your average mook will always do it. it never fails. They'll go to the narrowest point of any lane of traffic and stop there, blocking up the works for everyone else. There's been many times that Flint and I have seen this entrance blocked by mooks milling around, seemingly without any other purpose.
But this... This was a guy working for a business, and not even thinking about the business, and how someone might want to get in and spend their hard earned dollar.
You sir, are a mook!

Mook Of The Week

Last week, I finished my TESOL course, courtesy of Juseong University in Cheongju.
We had our graduation ceremony on Friday, which is where I ran into this week's mook.
The hallmark of any mook, as I have said, is the complete inability to use common sense. Even the simplest of snags or snafus can completely buffalo mooks and derail their entire day. The problem is, they usually take someone with them.
While I and my fellow students were busy getting our certificates, and being congratulated for finishing the course, we had left our cameras with a couple of assistants, who were asked to please take photos of the group, and the ceremony, and the handing over of the certificates, etc.
By the way, the certificate I was given mispelled my name. The mook in charge of making sure all the names were properly spelt texted me a few days before to make sure he got it right. When I pointed out that he got it WRONG, he checked the text on his phone, which sure enough had the right spelling.
D'oh!
But he's not the mook this week. He's the bonus mook, I guess.
No, this week's mook was one of the assistants handling our cameras and taking photos.
Now, I have a digital camera, just like most people these days. One of the things I like to do is shut the screen off when I'm not going to immediately be using the camera, as it saves the battery. I should have re-activated the screen before handing it over, but I neglected to do so in all the excitement.
The mook in question was completely baffled by the absence of a picture on the screen when he picked up my camera. I could see him milling around in the back, holding it this way and that, trying to see if the picture would show up from a different angle. Meanwhile, group shots were being posed, and individuals were taking their place next to the instructors, and all the while this mook is trying to figure out how he can take a picture without any preview available on the screen.
You and I both know that all anybody has to do is look through the viewfinder, and voila, the picture is there, ready for framing.
Do mooks understand about viewfinders? Does anybody use the viewfinder anymore?
I like the viewfinder. It makes for a better shot, I think.
Anyway, judge for yourself.
Here is the group, students and instructors, all together.

Here are the instructors: Daniel, Nick, and Dr. Kim.

And this is a shot of myself with Daniel and Nick.

These are the best of the photos the mook took, so I'll let you imagine the rest of them.
Sometimes, people remark that a really intelligent person can "think outside the box."
Mooks are not only happy inside the box, they cannot conceive of an outside, let alone imagine navigating their way through such treacherous waters. I hope the mook who took these photos is happy inside the box that I left him in, because he's going to be there for a looonnnggg time.

Mook Of The Week

You know, the way Koreans act and behave as a normal way of life makes me wonder why this country isn't a smoking ruin from one end to the other. Their foolish inattention to details (selfishly oblivious) should rain disaster down on their heads every day of their lives. They just have no common sense whatsoever.
Take this week's mook, for instance. He is one of two or three mooks who deliver liquid propane gas in and around Oksan, where my hagwon is. When the LPG trucks aren't racing around with their contents clanging and banging away in the back, one or another of them is parked on the same block at some time during the day, usually at night when they're off drinking soju and molesting schoolgirls.
This week's mook has taken the selfish obliviousness to a new level by parking his truck next to an open flame. The mooks in this town take to burning their shit (literally) whenever and wherever they want to, so there are days when the air is thick enough to chew.
Maybe he didn't park their when the fire was lit, so the mook doing the burning is the MOTW. All I know is, this was the situation when I left work Friday night.

Whichever is the case, we have a mook of breathtaking stupidity.
My hagwon is still there, but for how long?
You fucking waste of skin, you are a mook!

Mook of the Week

These photos are from a while ago. Stig and I were having lunch at a noodle restaurant. When we saw one .... two ... three mooks.

First this mook in pajamas with an IV in him was walking up and down the street. Not on the sidewalk mind you. On the street. Sometimes in the middle of the road. At times he would carry the IV in one hand while other times he laid it on his head. He had come out of the building across the street from our restaurant which has a "hospital" in it.

For those who haven't lived in Korea, or haven't learned yet, any place a doctor is at is called a hospital by Koreans. It can be one doctor, a clinic, or an actual hospital. They call all of them the hospital. It can be confusing for those who know the proper English terms.

Then along comes a she-mook in an SUV. She parks in front of the entrance to an underground parking lot.

Then we notice the pajama IV mook is heading to the SUV. It turns out she was coming to meet him. And what do we see? What the kimchi is that? She has a BABY strapped to her back! She is driving an SUV like a fucking moron ... errr mook ... and has a BABY between her and the driver's seat! What the fu ... errr kimchi?!?!? I have seen this stupidity with Korean's in the back seat (which is bloody horrible on its own) but not in the front! Accidents are common in Korea, because they drive like mooks. One idiot rear ends her, or she rear ends someone, and the kid is screwed. Bloody mooks!

Then along comes a stupid old bat driving a car. She sees that the she-mook has the best parking spot on the street so she has to try and out mook her. She uses the sidewalk to park on and leaves the ass end of her car blocking the entrance to an underground parking lot. What the kimchi?!? Is it a mook convention? A contest to see who is the biggest mook?

Now the 1st mook is in a quandry. A car wants out of the underground parking lot she is blocking. She has to move her SUV. What to do? What to do? She moved about 3 meters to block ANOTHER underground parking lot entrance. Once that car is out ... she backs up and blocks that entrance again. What a bizzy ditch!

Nopw the Pajamma IV mook saunters back up to the SUV with his IV bag on his head. He is meeting mommy moron. She gets out, still blocking the other entrance, and gives him the kid. He heads off into the building he came out of. Kid in his arms, IV bag on his head, IV tube within reach of the kid. She gets back into the SUV and drives off.

All in all the Mook Family Kim blocked the road and parking lots for 15+ minutes.

Then Granny Moron comes back to her car. She realizes that she still has to out-mook the Mook family to win the Stupidity Sweepstakes. So she backs out into the street and sits there blocking traffic for a good 5 minutes. And it wasn't blocking an empty road the whole time. Someone had the bad luck of having to sit behind this mook for a few minutes.

Sorry Granny but you still lose. A dumb bitch driving an SUV with a kid strapped to her back trumps just about any stupidity you could pull.

This street is now referred to as Mook Alley.

Mook of the Week

Welcome to the latest installment of Mook of the Week.

I saw these mooks one day while waiting for Stig to show up for lunch. At least one of them worked in the shop near them. He is a nice enough guy. I have dealt with him in the shop a few times. However, he is a mook as his behaviour here shows.

Now, I understand some, ok MANY, shops put stuff out on the sidewalk. In this case turning what is a 3-4 person sidewalk into a 1 person sidewalk. That on its own is annoying. But these guys take it to the next level. And unlike Stallone in that crappy movie "Get Carter" there IS a next level. Putting chairs out on the street and sitting there.

They seemed oblivious to the traffic that had to swerve partially into the 2nd lane to go around them. I have seen them sitting out on the road many times. Sometimes their chairs were halfway out into the lane. If someone beeps their horn or says something they start doing the mook dance, shaking their fists, and yelling "shebal sekis" at the "offender". After all, they are mooks and can't understand that THEY are in the wrong.

So, a 3-4 person sidewalk is turned into 1 lane as is a two lane street because these guys want to sit down and talk while keeping an eye on the stuff they have blocking the sidewalk. A street that can get very busy at times because Home Plus is across the way.

Sometimes, in the evening, you can see them sitting there drinking soju, makkeoli, or dongdongju. Mooking about as if they owned the world.

These are prime examples of mooks.

Mook of the Week

I don't know anyone who has lived in South Korea and NOT seen someone pissing publicly. Some try to conceal it a bit but most don't.

One night Stig and I were sitting out front of a convenience store near my apartment. We were enjoying some beer and a good cigar. There is a seafood restaurant at the top of the street. During the summer they have outside tables as well as inside.

Two mooks strolled down about halfway to where we were sitting. (Across the street from us.) They then proceeded to whip out their tallywhackers and hose down the alleyway/entrance to an apartment building.

All we could do was shake our heads in disgust. I didn't have my camera out or I would have taken a picture of them. Just in case I got the camera out.

Lo and behold a while later another mook shambled down the street from the restaurant. He didn't bother with the alley/entrance. He just pissed on the curb in view of everyone. He looked a little surprised when the flash went off. After the shock dare I say he was a little ... pissed off? Better than being pissed on.

What really marks this idiot as a mook is the location of ... a bathroom. There is a bathroom in the restaurant. The mook actually had to go FURTHER out of his way to piss on the street. What the kimchi?

It is hard to think of "The Strangest" pissing encounter I have had, or rather seen. There have been so many over the years. A guy standing in the door of a restaurant pissing out onto the sidewalk. A guy dropping his drawers and pissing on a phone pole in front of a store. A woman (from the same restaurant the guy stood in the doorway of but on a different day) whipping her kids panties off, hauling her dress up and holding her against a telephone pole to piss. A woman letting her kid piss against a power box in front of a dunkin donuts while the sidewalk was crowded. Ah, the restaurant people ... I should mention there was a bathroom they could have used.

Ok ... the strangest public pissing I have seen has got to be this incident. I was waiting for a taxi to come by and 2 women were walking down the sidewalk. Picture this. You and a friend are walking down a sidewalk. To your left a foreigner is at the road side trying to hail a cab. To your right, partially on the sidewalk, an adjosshi has his pants and underwear around his ankles proudly pissing away. Who would you stare at and make comments about? Of course for the Koreans it was the foreigner. Which, as I have said a few times previously, makes me wonder JUST how commonplace public urination is if seeing a foreigner is less common and evokes more of a reaction. Two sets of mooks for one that night.

Mook Of The Week

There are so many candidates that go unrecorded, because I see them while driving.

But here's one I saw on Thursday while taking some pictures around Oksan. It was a beautiful day, so I was on the roof of the kindergarten, which offers a good view of the srrounding countryside.
It's an ajumma, wheeling a baby carriage complete with baby down the main street in Oksan. This street gets pretty busy. Oksan is only a wide spot on the road, but as the road leads from here to there, a lot of traffic goes through.
Of course, there are sidewalks on both sides of the street, but why would she want to keep the kid safe from being run over? Does she have to get the kid used to being a mook as soon as possible? What's the training program a mook undergoes, anyway?
I bet this stupid bitch could tell us.
You, ma'am, are a mook.

Mook(s) of the Week

Sorry for the lateness of this one. I am going to blame it on the trip home. :)

While I liked Airport City near Incheon airport there did seem to be an unseemly number of mooks driving and parking there. It was hard to pick just one mook. There was a veritable cornucopia of mookishness around us. We are only dealing with the drivers here. The pedestrians would require a post of there own. SO many mooks walking down the middle of roads while sidewalks are empty. But I digress.

Stig and I found a nice patio to enjoy an after-dinner cigar and scotch. You couldn't help but notice the way the mooks parked. Blocking cross walks and streets.

As the night wore on it would get worse.

Idiots like this would double park and start blocking the main road. Then came the tour bus.

The bus dropped off a load of mooks all dressed a like. They went to a restaurant for dinner. The hour plus they were gone the bus just sat there blocking the one of the two lanes on the road. Other mooks would see him there, like the white car above, and just park behind him. They really Koreaned people using that road.

I haven's seen so much mookishness when it comes to parking in one day before. A new high, or low depending on your point of view, for Koreans.

To all of those poor drivers and parkers. They take garden variety mookishness and raise it to new levels. You sir(s) are mooks of the 1st Order.

Mook Of The Week

As you may know, I live in Cheongju, and commute to a small town called Oksan. I see many, many mooks and mookish behaviour on the road, but it's difficult to document when you're driving. I think I would be considered a mook if I was concentrating more on taking pictures than taking care of business.
It's also not a good idea to take your mind off of watching out for the next accident coming your way, because you know the mooks are selfishly oblivious.
But, I have taken to having the camera at the ready, just in case the opportunity presents itself. And, as they always do, the mooks obliged.
I saw this mook just as I was coming into Oksan. The road crosses a river, and then comes to a T-intersection. I was waiting for the light to change when I saw him.
That's Oksan in the distance. Not much more than a wide spot on the road, but it's smack in between here and there, so it gets a lot of through traffic, including heavy trucks, buses, etc.
There're also a lot Kim Kadiddlehoppers on their tractors and forklifts(!) clogging the highways and byways. Oksan is full of old ajummas and adjussis who just don't give a fuck about traffic safety. I think they must've grown up walking on the road simply because there wasn't anything else. Sidewalks are one of those recent innovations that come with entering the 20th century, and these mooks are still looking askance, deciding if they're really that practical. The jury is still out.
I mean, look at this guy! There's a guardrail there, but why would he want to walk behind that?! And walking against traffic, so you can see it coming?
No way!
They should look out for me!
Mookmookmookshepalmookchoahmookgesekimookshepalnommookmookmook.
The bridge is ahead of this mook. He was probably going across. Why? Fuck if even he knows.
But it's kind of narrow; only two lanes with no sidewalk. It wouldn't take much for some selfishly oblivious mook to rub him off against the guardrail and over the side into the drink.
But he doesn't care, 'cause he's got places to go.
You sir, are a mook.

Mook of the Week

Yea though I walk through the shadow of the valley of Mooks I shall fear no Mook because I have a shiny object.

Welcome to the latest installment of Mook of the Week. What a week it was. I actually encountered THREE candidates for Mook of the Year! It was hard to decide which one to use as Mook of the Week. After some deliberation Stig and I concluded the decision could only be made in the traditional Korean manner. Rock, Paper, Scissors. Thus we have our winner.

I was meeting my adult students at Dunkin Donuts for coffee instead of using the classroom. Being me I was VERY early. So I picked the best seat to observe the world outside. The same seat I saw last weeks Mook of the Week from. And it didn't disappoint.

While the light was red the Yellow Mook drove into the crosswalk and stopped. You could tell by the way he stopped that he was either going to pull a U or run the red and turn left. Then the green walk light came on. At this point he was just a typical mook. Blocking a crosswalk. Then he started moving forward. While people were using the crosswalk.

At this point he is through the crosswalk and out in the street. He stops. People are still crossing. A woman and child are just starting to cross. The green to walk isn't even flashing. It is still solid. Then he cuts his wheels and goes to finish the U-turn.

He came close to tagging the mook in the car who had been edging out even though the light was red. Thus blocking the other crosswalk. And even though he should be able to see that people are still using the crosswalk he stepped on the gas and sped off.

If ever there was a poster boy for Mooks this ricetard is it.

You sir, are the mookiest mook that ever mooked.
